Music & photography by Eden Marquis
I produced "Insatiable" entirely as mostly a form of therapy. I didn’t mean for it to come off as a soundtrack for a movie, but it has definitely been a journey. I wanted to do this alone so I could feel comfortably uncomfortable while recording; this LP has made me very open and in some cases vulnerable, which was much needed (I’m glad I’m able to admit that.). "Insatiable" will always be a favorite creation to me because I stayed true to my sound and eclectic way of creating. The same goes for my photography, I do all my own photoshoots from the production to the musing; I am very hands on to make sure I am able to articulate what I see in my mind into real life. I am very inspired by the old cathedrals and stain glass windows from my religious background growing up, it has made me who I am (and I’m awesome!). I view them as a sign of sacredness and a physical representation of light beings such as angels. Metatron and the other archangels are only fractals of light shown within the darkness, and as told angels aren’t free to move only by command they are consciousness, demons on the other hand are more independent thinking, like Lucifer. Tying in with my photo series I am the shadow of day, free to move as I please; dressed in white; for purity and irony. To be seen in called as sin, but a saint in the darkness; different paradigms.
