Mixtape by Ingrid Calderon

I offer you some phonic pieces of my soul. Dramatic much? Perhaps, but it doesn’t make it any less true. These songs soothe and nurture. They impregnate and wrap you in their arms.

I’ve played these songs together in a slew, and separately on repeat. Over and over and over...

They trigger feelings of lips on skin, of standing in the secret of storms. I hope they ignite a murmuration of flight in you.

Ingrid Calderon is a far off island and the lines on the palm of your hand. She writes out of necessity to breathe. She wants to cry deep in your marrow, and push a blade in your navel. She’s you, and you’re her. Find her at @BrujaLamatepec.
