Captured talk poem by Marcella Haddad

Love is Great, But You Know What’s Better? Seasoning.

The first thing was about a boy, the second thing
was about legos...so you know, the two biggest
things in the world we have to worry about.

I just wanna like...destroy a small town, you
                                              know?

I dated a guy once who said, 'do you want me to be
nice, or honest?' and I was like wow, there are
really people who believe you can't be both.

Don’t set yourself on fire just to make
                                              someone else feel warm.

Some missionaries kidnapped a family who spoke
this indigenous language and learned some of their
words.

Like, 'help' and 'no,' and 'please'

I think all linguists secretly want their language to
be extinct, because then their paper is worth more
and they can be the grand master.

Ghosts don’t mind being stepped on, as long
                                              as they’re not forgotten.
