Poetry by Miggy Angel
Vision Vis-A-Vis
The room is black, moonlight immune. You’re back in the cage again, having sworn to change. It is not too late, the tulips are still two lips opening. The universe has not reneged. Renegade, fire awaits. Waif, stray, awaken. |
The Seed
The soil cedes to the seed and is succeeded by space, a chrysalis where, sheathed in earth, supplanted by sun and rain, the icon of green stem begets the labour of the ground’s grand gesture: without surrender there are no flowers. |
