Wafted the Sound of Voices

Picture
The fisherman called
Conscious of the shore.

“Begone! You are my creator, but I am your
Master; — obey!”

“Your threats cannot move me
In cold blood,
Your words will only exasperate my rage.”

“Shall each man,
Hate; but beware!
Your happiness for ever.”
This is a found poem.

Spark of Existence

Picture
Despair had not
Rage and revenge.

The cold stars
Waved their branches
Amidst the universal stillness.

I bore a
Luxury of sensation.
I declared the species, heard the voices of men, and knew
To devote
“The pleasant sunshine to
Help believing
In my behalf.”
This is a found poem.
